Indiana Storm Support & Recovery

Storm Recovery – Various counties in Indiana
Our friends and neighbors in Indiana are dealing with the aftermath of severe storms, and many could use a little help getting back on their feet.
Nobody really weathers a storm alone. AAt some oint, we all need a lighthouse and a safe harbor. MCN’s Indiana Storm Support & Recovery Fund was created to help provide that safe harbor. Funds raised will support pratical recovery needs for people and communities impacted by the storms.
This is what MCN is about – neighbors helping neighbors and communities taking care of their own when it matters. Today it’s Indiana. Tomorrow, any one of us may be the one who needs a hand.

Northgate Plaza Community Support
Ongoing
Midwest Communities Network is working with residents of Northgate Plaza in Rochester, Minnesota, to help meet an ongoing need for fresh food and everyday essentials.
Northgate Plaza is home to more than 200 residents, many of whom are elderly, disabled, veterans, or living on fixed incomes. Residents recently lost access to their on-site food pantry, which had helped many households stretch limited monthly budgets.
MCN is helping fill that gap by raising funds and coordinating community support for fresh and healthy foods, including options that meet residents’ dietary needs, as well as basic household essentials.
This is an ongoing effort. As needs change, we’ll continue working directly with Northgate Plaza residents to identify what is most useful and make sure donations are directed where they can have the greatest impact.
